Bryan Baldwin

Bryan Baldwin writes for men navigating the unglamorous middle of ordinary life, and for younger readers discovering courage through adventure. He is the author of The Flatlands, the first book in The Ground Level Series, and of the middle-grade mystery Gigi’s Last Secret.

He is also an artificial intelligence engineer. He spends his working hours building machine learning systems for the supply chain industry — which is its own kind of flatland, and part of where the first book came from — and he designs and builds AI-powered web and mobile applications, most recently Wisdom Assistant, which turns author Nelson Miller’s published series into a free online library — read it, hear it, ask it questions — with an AI librarian that answers from the books and cites what it used.

The two crafts are one discipline to him: careful systems, built to serve people in the middle of things. Grounded in his Christian faith and years of community leadership, he lives in West Michigan with his family.
